![]() Getty Marrow Undergraduate Interns must work full-time (no more than 40 hours a week), for 10 consecutive weeks beginning no sooner than June 5 and ending no later than August 25, 2023. The development and execution of an online public program led in part by the Intern, with guidance from Armory staff and using Armory resources.The preparation of written program descriptions, supporting event promotion, program collateral design, social media campaign activation, and online program technical support.The planning and presentation of programs in the Armory’s Caldwell Gallery and virtually via the Armory’s online platform.Intern will report directly to the Exhibition Manager/Assistant Curator and the Director of Exhibition Programs/Chief Curator, and will assist with: ![]() Previous internships or other relevant experiences in the visual arts are a plus, but not required. Familiarity with Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro, etc.) a plus.Be social media savvy (Instagram, Facebook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team both in-person and virtually.Manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.Have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.Follow instructions and ask thoughtful questions.Have excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.Be proficient in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Slides, etc.).Candidates should have some or all of the following attributes: The ideal candidate is a full-time undergraduate student majoring in art history, museum studies, library sciences, information studies, visual arts, communications, or other related fields. Are family members of Armory staff or board members.You have received a prior BA, BS, or higher degree.You have previously been an Armory Getty Marrow Undergraduate intern.Students with DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival) status valid through the internship period are also eligible. Be a United States citizen or permanent resident (non-citizen authorized to live and work in the United States on a permanent basis also known as a “green card” holder).Reside or attend college in Los Angeles County and.(Students who are enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.) Students who graduated after April 1, 2023, are also eligible. Students must have completed at least one semester or two-quarters of college by June 2023.
